About Us

Ocean Bay Park Fire Department

The Ocean Bay Park Fire Department was established in 1931. Our goal is to ensure the safety of our residents and homes. Over the past 82 years, we have continuously been successful in achieving that goal and we look forward to serving you for many years to come.

Purpose

We provide fire protection and emergency response services to the Ocean Bay Park community and all our contracted mutual aid fire departments on Fire Island.

Details

In addition to responding to fires, we respond to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, and hazardous materials incidents.
